Ava Masias (she/they/he), is a genderfluid performer with a comprehensive background in voice, dance, and acting. A passion for storytelling through interdisciplinary artistic expressions defines Ava's approach to performance.

Ava holds a BFA in musical theatre and a minor in dance. These days, Ava finds herself drawn to the worlds of physical theatre, jazz, and burlesque.

Most recently Ava was a producer, director, and performer of Lauver's Lullabies, A Bewitching Evening of Laufey at 54 Below in collaboration with Underbelly Theatre Company. In addition to producing and directing the show, Ava aurally transcribed back up vocals for six pieces in the project. 

Additionally, Ava originated the role of The Dark in miller & harlow's The Dark, a sapphic, modern opera. Coming to spotify soon! For a sneak peek check out the song Nightbird!

Aside from auditioning and performing, Ava finds joy and community in his passion projects. Including performing with Just A Girl Productions, studying pole dance at Full Circle Brooklyn, and practicing yoga at Kala Yoga.
